By the time I was diagnosed with Hypersensitisation Disorder in February 2007, my suspicion of having a chronic illness was confirmed. At last there was a rational explanation for the array of peculiar and seemingly unrelated symptoms and ailments that had been plaguing me for quite some time.
Being able to label my condition, afforded me validation: I was not a self-absorbed hyperchondriac after all!
Little did I know that from that moment on, I would embark on an endless uphill battle consisting of consultations and clinical investigations; most of these proved very expensive, many fruitless, and some downright painful.

In this Blog I share some of my thoughts and experiences relating to the endless pursuit of conquering chronic illness.
